Bariatric Aids
Bariatric aids are reinforced to cater for a larger capacity. The term bariatric is generally used after working out a persons Body Mass Index (BMI). It is for this reason that there is no strict capacity for the term 'Bariatric'. However, it has become a term used for 'heavy duty capacity' goods. This means you may see an item here and think "Hey! I'm not bariatric!", or the other way "That's not suitable for me, it only takes 115kg!" This is because we have drawn our line in the sand at 100kg. Many manufacturers now days use this capacity as their cut-off and therefore we have adopted this limit.
We have a large variety of products to cater for 100kg and greater- we stock walkers, toilet aids, liftchairs, wheelchairs and much, much more. Many of our products are rated between 200kg and 300kg, are all reinforced and are certified by all necessary organizations.
