This cushion section is designed for people that need low pressure relief whilst sitting in a wheelchair. The products herein are generally fine to buy for light use- for example, someone with no known pressure requirements or issues who needs a cushion for 1 - 2 hours.
Please note that choosing the wrong cushion for someone with pressure ulcers or high-care needs can be fatal. A pressure sore is a very serious condition: if you are buying for someone who has got existing pressure requirements please call us before you purchase a wheelchair cushion. You may need to consult an Occupational \ Physio Therapist to discuss the appropriate product for the user.
