This section contains cushions used by people who spend quite a lot of time in a wheelchair (2 - 4 hours continuous). The types of wheelchair cushions that are classed as 'Medium' can be used by people wanting supreme comfort, or for people with low-grade pressure ulcers.
Please note that choosing the wrong cushion for someone with pressure ulcers or high-care needs can be fatal. A pressure sore is a very serious condition: if you are buying for someone who has got existing pressure requirements please call us before you purchase a wheelchair cushion. You may need to consult an Occupational \ Physio Therapist to discuss the appropriate product for the user.
