Cost effective and safe solution for our seniors who have either lost or surrendered their licence. Electric scooters- sometimes called gophers, shopriders or buggies- are a perfect car replacement for getting to and from the shopping centre and tacking trips that a vehicle used to make.Disability scooters come in all shapes and sizes- there are little boot scooters that can be broken apart to fit inside the back of a standard sedan, larger ‘shop-ready’ scooters that are capable of travelling outdoors with greater ground clearance, to the biggest ‘off-road’ machines that are used for rural work.

They come in a large variety of styles, colours and designs that offer a touch of personalisation and style to the necessity. Another frequently used mobility aid is crutches. When somebody’s mobility decreases, whether by debilitating injury or simply old age, there are a number of aids somebody can purchase to assist in various areas of life. A rollator walking frame, also sometimes called a wheelie walker or ‘A-Frame’, has four wheels and a braking system of some description. The brakes can themselves come in a variety of styles, though the most common two designs are ‘cable brake rollators’ and ‘pushdown’ or ‘compression walkers’.

Few products are as popular-or as handy- as the Auscare '3-in-1'. Is it a Free-Standing Commode? Is it a Toilet-Seat Riser? Is it an Over-Toilet Frame? No, it is all three... in one. Don't go and spend a heap on lots of different items when this could be the last item you need for toilet safety.

The amount of times I have seen people pushing others around backwards on a rollator is proportional to the amount of stories I have heard of broken hips and other bones. Rollators are for walking or sitting. Not for both at the same time. Please read this blog for more information.
