The Benefits of a 'Shower Chair' or 'Shower Stool'

One of the most popular items that we sell in our store is a shower chair. It is basically a shower seat that has arms, height adjustable legs and a backrest. A walk in shower, or shower tub, can be over $4000 whereas a showerchair starts from $80.00 and is far easier to transport.

shower stool is equally as popular. Again you have height adjustable legs and usually hand rails on the side to assist in standing, though the major difference of a showerstool is that it usually doesn’t have a backrest.

Shower chairs and shower stools can improve the safety in the bathroom exponentially. If you were to add one of these two shower seats, as well as implement shower rails or bathroom rails, you significantly reduce the likelihood of a fall in this area.

These bathroom seats- as well as a huge variety of other bathroom aids- can be found in the ‘Shower Aids’ or ‘Bathroom Aids’ section of our website.
