Quad sticks (or quad canes) are a four-legged mobility aid very similar in nature to a traditional walking stick. The major difference is that whereas a walking stick has only one rubber stopper making contact with the floor, a quad stick has four. This means that a quad stick is more stable and offers greater support for those with impaired mobility. They are slightly heavier, but another great benefit is that they can be left standing by themselves without having to lean the stick on a wall or other area.
